Chair Yoga is a form of yoga practiced sitting on a chair or standing using a chair for support. It has the same benefits as mat-based yoga classes, such as helping with stress, pain, and fatigue and it can also help with joint lubrication and balance, without having to get up and down off the floor. Combining slower movements and transitions allows the student to mindfully enter yoga poses in a safe manner.
