Yogadevotion’s Embodied Lenten Journey concludes during Holy Week with the passion narrative of Jesus. This year we will Enter the Story, Experience the Passion through guided meditation led by Rev. Cindy Senarighi.
We will begin with a guided meditation that helps us imagine ourselves as part of the crowd in the Palm Parade on Palm Sunday.
Wednesday we will conclude the Embodied Lenten Journey chakra series with yoga teacher Ame Kitch and the crown chakra. (This is a separate zoom link, so please register)
Thursday the guided meditation will place us at the table, the Last Supper. If Holy Communion is part of your faith tradition, self-communion will be offered virtually as part of this meditation.
Friday will be a guided meditation around the seven last words of Jesus on the cross.
Saturday we will invite you to schedule 10 minutes of meditation on your own to reflect on the life, love, mission and way of Jesus.
Sunday we invite you to participate in a faith community of your choice virtually or in person as available. If you are currently without a church home, please contact us for suggestions.
All meditations are at 7 PM CDT, 8 PM EST. Please register at yogadevotion.com (There is no cost for this series).
Props for guided meditation are what ever you need to be supported in a restorative, comfortable posture. Blankets, bolsters, eye bags, blocks, or prayer shawls, we will be in the restorative posture for 30-40 minutes. For Thursday’s communion meditation please have a wet wash cloth, bread and wine or juice.
This is our gift to you, there will be no charge or free will donation requested.
